Hedvig Hricak

Hedvig Hricak, M.D., Ph.D., Dr.h.c. holds the Carroll and Milton Petrie Chair of Radiology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York and is a member of the Molecular Pharmacology and Chemistry Program, Sloan Kettering Institute. She is Professor at Gerstner Sloan Kettering Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and Professor of Radiology, Weill Cornell College of Medicine, New York. The hallmark of her research career has been the development, translation, and dissemination of new diagnostic imaging techniques, primarily for genitourinary cancers. Hedvig Hricak has received many awards, including the David Rall Medal of the National Academy of Medicine as well as 6 gold medals and 22 honorary fellowships from radiologic societies around the world.” She holds the honorary doctorates from the Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich, Germany and the University of Toulouse III, Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, France.
