Jürgen Debus

Jürgen Debus is radiation oncologist and physicist, chair of the department of Radiation Oncology and Radiotherapy at the Heidelberg University Hospital and serves as a medical and scientific director of the Heidelberg Ion beam Therapy Center (HIT). He and his team provide the whole spectrum of high-precision radiotherapy techniques. A major goal is the individualization of radiotherapy by image guidance, including also a close collaboration with the department of Nuclear Medicine.
