Michael Droller

Michael J. Droller, M.D. is the Katherine and Clifford Goldsmith Professor of Urology, Professor of Oncology, and Chairman Emeritus of Urology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He became Professor and Chairman of Urology at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in 1984, serving in that capacity for the next 20 years. His clinical and research interests have focused on the biology and pathogenesis of bladder cancer and its treatment. His bibliography lists over 200 original and review articles and the editorship of 7 books, largely in urologic oncology and bladder cancer. In addition to his service as President and on the Executive Boards of several urologic societies, he has served as Trustee of the American Board of Urology, Associate Editor of "The Journal of Urology", and Editor-in-Chief of "Urologic Oncology: Seminars and Original Investigations".
