Peter Black

Dr. Peter Black is a Senior Research Scientist at the Vancouver Prostate Centre and Professor in the Department of Urologic Sciences at the University of British Columbia. He has a translational research interest in bladder cancer with a focus on resistance to chemotherapy and immunotherapy and the development of novel targeted therapies to overcome resistance. Dr. Black is Surgical Oncology Co-Chair of the NCI Bladder Cancer Task Force and Chair of the AUA Research Grants & Investigator Support Committee. He is Chair of the Canadian Bladder Cancer Network and General Secretary of the International Bladder Cancer Network. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Société Internationale d’Urologie Journal.
